EF-4 Tornado hits Rozel, Kan. Saturday
Rozel, Kan. – A supercell thunderstorm developed east of Dodge City around 5:30 p.m, Saturday, May 18 and became tornadic after entering Pawnee County. A tornado developed six miles southwest of Rozel at 7:18 p.m. and moved to one mile west of town before turning to the northwest and dissipating about three miles northwest of Rozel at 7:47 p.m.

Moore, Okla. – A violent tornado struck the Moore, Okla. area Monday afternoon causing a massive amount of damage and prompted the National Weather Service in Norman, Okla. to issue a Tornado Emergency for the Oklahoma City area during the storm. The National Weather Service in Norman has given the highest damage rating for tornadoes for the Moore tornado, ranked an EF-5.
