Another round of severe storms is possible this evening across portions of western Kansas. Storms will initially develop in southwest Kansas.
These storms will move northeastward throughout the evening hours across southwest Kansas, eventually moving into northwest and north central Kansas later in the evening.
The strongest storms will be capable of very large hail to 2 inches in diameter or greater, along with damaging wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph. Isolated tornadoes are also possible.
A second round of storms could move into far northwest Kansas near or after midnight. The main threats with these storms would be isolated hail and wind.
